I’ve been going to gyms for 25 years and had many different trainers. Marco is without a doubt the best trainer I’ve ever had. His relaxed approach belies the expertise and preparation that goes into every session. No two sessions are ever the same and the variety and results help keep up the enthusiasm. Every programme is tailored to the individual and he never imposes some kind of generic programme, it is always bespoke. As well as his professional expertise he is good company and he makes all workouts enjoyable. I’d recommend him highly to anyone interested in personal training. (But his singing is dreadful).
I began training with Marco Oliveira in November 2013 so it has now been a whole year. Initially I trained once a week and later as it came closer to summer I increased my classes to twice a week. I can honestly say that I could feel results from the very first class. I have always been a gym user and would go usually 3 times a week. When I started with Marco I had genuinely thought I was in pretty good shape and was astonished to find how unfit I actually was. It is incredible the difference it makes to work out with a personal trainer as knowledgeable as Marco as he was able to plan a routine specific for my needs, and in the last year I have seen my shape completely transformed. It is such a pleasure to be a couple of clothes sizes smaller and to wear nice clothes which now hang so much better on me. I am thrilled with my results and proud of how much stronger I now am and I have to say that becoming fitter has definitely been a confidence boost for me. In addition to designing a training plan for me I found Marco to be extremely knowledgeable regarding anatomy & physiology, I often can have trouble with my neck and shoulder muscles and as a trained masseuse Marco has been able to help me out with any problem areas and save me a trip to my physiotherapist. Marco has also offered great advice with regards to diet. He is very easy to talk to and after a year I definitely consider him a good friend and he even has the patience to listen to my woes after a long day. I still attend my own gym on average once a week. I have not been strict about this or my diet and still have as full a social calendar as always. I have cut bread out of my diet significantly, substituted cereal for fruit in the mornings and try to eat fresh as much as possible. Small changes that I am not regimental about- I still enjoy a McDonalds from time to time! So I still believe that my transformation success is totally down to the training I do with Marco. And the best thing about training with Marco is that it is FUN!! He makes each and every work out a variety of different exercises. I laugh a lot and I always look forward to my class always feel a terrific sense of achievement at the end. So a huge thank you Marco I could not have done it without you!!!
